Let's Talk About Bad Rape Laws

*NEW VIDEO* I have spoken about sexism, victim blaming, rape culture etc many times, but I have never explained what an important part legislation plays in changing the narrative when it comes to ending sexual violence against women and girls. I hope this video explains the connection and why it is so important to demand better laws and for our governments to make it a priority. As you know I support Equality Now which is a charity that challenges gender inequality around the world. They are working towards ending sexual violence by examining and moving to change legislation where needed. I hope you can support the amazing work they do in any way you can. There are so many victims and survivors of rape and sexual violence every day worldwide and they are being let down by a system that is supposed to protect them.
