Healthy Spaghetti Bolognese
Ingredients
400g grams of beef mince (to feed a family of 5)
1 tin of chopped tomato
Tomato puree
1 onion
Whatever veg you have at home, I often use:
Broccoli, carrots, courgette, green beans - all cut up small.
Salt and pepper
Season with italian herbs
Method
Chop and fry 1 onion
Add the beef and make sure it is all cooked through by turning brown.
Cut veg up in small pieces and add to the pan
Add tin of chopped tomatoes, tomato puree and a little water
Cook on low heat for an hour or until the veg is soft
Add herbs, salt and pepper.
Boil spaghetti until soft and serve.
